The purpose of these writings is to shed light on religious darkness and to open a gate to those who want freedom instead of religious bondage.
Religion is not a decipline whereby a person can access God but is man's way of reaching God through his own devices. The clergy, is those people who promote and maintain these fanticies. The clergy has morphed from being the servents of the Body of Christ into the ruleing class presiding over those unfortunate souls. Facing freedom from the grip of the clergy is also to face fear. Therefore, we must obtain peace which will consume the fear. The ONLY way this can be accomplished is to increase the understanding of what Jesus actually was thinking when he said all those strange and wonderful things. What He said is one thing... what He means is now being revealed. To be free one must be willing to learn and grow.
The whole Bible is a collection of symbols and allegories, even though we have divided it into traditional categories, such as history, law, poetry, prophecy and so forth. These spiritual symbols have been established by God to serve a specific purpose. It is way past time for the reality of those symbols to be realized.
The whole life of Jesus was allegorical (symbolic) and presents a very clear spiritual model.. Jesus spoke in spiritual terms even when it was not apparent. This is the truth that the RELIGIOUS, unspiritual nay-sayers must attack in order to preserve the religious status quo. The “semi-godly” do not perceive this in the same channel in which it actually flows. They have a different channel which suits their tradition.
This is not rocket science, anyone can understand it. It is not theology! It’s like a message written in stick figures which tells a story BEYOND what seems to be there. These things are not accepted by those who speak the ecclesiastical language of the clergy. Jesus identified these people: he called them wolves.
To access and understand the model (Jesus), the seekers must struggle to be free of the religious orientation in which they find themselves. In many cases the seeker will have to fight their way past their clergy in order to gain their freedom and escape the religious grasp of the “semi-godly.” That would be the first step on the road to true worship.
It’s a matter of orientation. If anyone truly loves Jesus their loyalty must be to the truth and not to ANY religious institution. Jesus first... above all things and all others... all the time! That is a true seal of authentication for those who profess Jesus as Lord. Nevertheless, religious orientation pollutes, distorts and waters down the spiritual substance of the things that Jesus did and said.
There is much to be said about these things, seeing as how there are so very many voices screaming so many things all at once. Why is this voice different? It is the plain brown paper bag containing the truth. Jesus first... above all things and all others... all the time!
The door is open! From here on it’s up to you. If you want to understand the things of the Holy Spirit you can start here. But I warn you! This is not a walk in the park. Everyone who desires to truly walk in the Spirit must climb the mountain of holiness, stand on the top and with clenched fist and gritted teeth, lean into the wind and be determined not to be blown off, no matter what!
I am a stepping stone. That's all I am. Please step here and cross over into the freedom of the Spirit and the deeper things of the Lord. If you are new to the freedom of being outside of the institutions and these things seem heavy and deep, it is understandable that you might feel this way. However... there is much deeper and often hard to understand things in the Lord. It is actually not rocket science but the tough part is getting beyond what we actually think we already know. Even if we don't think so, our orientation has been influenced by the traditions and religious teachings along with our own logic.
This is an easy thing to deal with in a blog but face to face with an individual it is another thing. And I am not talking just about religious people. The Lord is gracious but he does resist the proud. We must be swift to hear and slow to speak! All who have knowledge and those who think they do... BE HUMBLE... BE HUMBLE... BE HUMBLE! A heard head and a bad attitude makes for a sore rear-end; do not think that the Lord will not punish us for our foolishness. Take these endeavors seriously and walk carefully among the brethren. The "sistern" (smile) are brethren too, since we are all a genderless priesthood. Think spiritual.
