Dimensions of the Heart
Each one of us who has entered the spiritual realm has a function, sometimes many functions. Quite a few of us serve purposes that we are totally unaware of. Look beyond our brethren’s exterior roughness and realize their particular holy function. It is not necessary that we “like” one another per se. Some personalities do clash; therefore, we have the fruit of the Spirit and not to please ourselves! We are not looking for acquaintances based on superficial, relational encounters that appeal to our sense of well being. The carnal mind seeks such relationships; nevertheless, the fruit of the Spirit has its place and love prevails.
The Lord talks to us in his own real time. Often we do not discern that voice clearly or its timing and dimensions. That was a very plain statement; it is clear to very few.God speaks in eternity… where there is no time. When we hear the voice of the Lord, it may take decades for us to receive the complete thought. I say this by experience. We, being human, want to hear actual words that make sense so we dismiss anything less. This is the normal thought pattern of the human being. Along these lines flows the reason for the renewing of our minds so that we may hear and understand.
As you can see, I am not traditional in my understanding. I may say things that defy the comfort zone of the way we were before this freedom. This is a good thing. Nevertheless, the true validity of these things can fly right past those that stand before me, as I look them in the face, time after time.
There is a way of looking at something where more is seen than what appears to be obvious and this is not a dogmatic way of thinking. It is a true discernment, which is to bridge an unseen gap in the normal pattern of perception.
Insane is a harsh word. I am not implying that we actually become insane but I use extremes to make a point and create a picture other than the one put there by the Babylonian matrix. Remember all those super sermons on faith?
The substance of faith is a process of power not based on straining our carnal minds to believe something that the carnal mind was not designed to except. It is like an imagination or a dream. For example: fly across the room and settle on the other side. That’s ridiculous isn’t it? Alright… now imagine that you are floating across the room and landing on the other side. That was easy, was it not? What does that imagined flight have to do with reality? What we imagine can have substance in the spiritual dimension. Let me set something up for your discernment:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. - Mat 5:28.
Here we have a good example of a thought having an existence on another level that Jesus considers to have substance. A deed is done in the heart and it has consequences! In our natural reality it was simply imagination. Nevertheless… this is not the long and the short of it, it goes way beyond that. What does it mean to have the mind of Christ?
When our minds are in the normal human focus, all of our understanding and ability is limited to those boundaries and we are said to be in a carnal state of mind. That mind is not capable of submission to the Spirit but is bound at a lower level.
We have two minds, one is spiritual and the other is natural. The spiritual mind must be in control way beyond the natural mind because the natural mind is in rebellion against God. Even though we can know much intellectually in the direction of God, from there, we know nothing in its proper balance. Or as Paul said, “We know nothing as we should know it.”
This applies on many levels of understanding and may be encountered time after time if our mind is not renewed in the comparative insanity of the substance of faith. It is insane because we exist in duel dimensions due to the understanding which allows the substance of faith to be free. That substance is a discerned reality within our own hearts.
What we want in the Lord is to do his will and it will take an effort to remove our minds from off of the earth and by faith let God take us … as he did Enoch. Then, our will is consumed in trust. This is how we follow the Lamb, just as Enoch walked with God.
These things are real to those who walk in them. Walk where? Enoch walked with God and he was not found, for God took him. God is a spirit. To walk with God we must do so in the Spirit. This is similar to an imaginary world, where we dwell in the presence of the Lord. That is only true if we can discern it and receive its reality.
If all of this is true, then what is the reality and the purpose for it? If Jesus is our example, or as I have heard some say, ”our pattern.” Then we need to conform to the pattern. This is our whole purpose in life.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested… that he might destroy the works of the devil. – 1st John 3:8.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. - John 14:12.
"The works that I do shell you do because I go to my father." There must be a supernatural connection between the Lord and those who are to be used in the conclusion of this phase of time. This is why the servants of God are sealed. Holy protection is not going to be issued by God in the form of a shiny new bullet proof vest, imagined to be fit to stop the super-high-velocity projectiles of the Devil’s end-time cannon.
When the Lord makes manifest his judgment, in conjunction with his appearance (- John 1:5), then those who follow him in the Spirit will thrive and survive in a supernatural way. At that time, there will be no other way to function and to stay out of prison and thereby to remain alive.
Jesus says to be ready! This means to already have the capacity of a wise virgin. The obtaining of that capacity is contained in ALL of the things that we see in Jesus as a living allegory but we simply do not discern in the spiritual context. Pay attention to what he does (allegorically) as well as his words and look deeply into them and let the anointing of the power instruct us as we look.
In short: if we don’t “get it,” then we will not be accounted worthy to escape those judgments that will fall upon the shameful city of the religious. It is easy to apply these transparent things to a different picture than the one Jesus speaks of; nevertheless, look at the passages below and let it sink in.
(Luk 21:36) Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Who does the will of the Father?
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Jesus the Lunatic
We need to enter a realm of non-conformity that is on the level of insanity. Of course, ordinary people don’t need to know about or see this. This is very important! This is between us and God. It’s on the inside not the outside. Do not make our spirituality into an unnecessary spectacle. If they knew what was in our mind they will send us off to the funny farm; that, you can take literally in its normal application!
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. - John 6:53.
Many people who followed Jesus could not deal with that statement because they had a no capacity for the spiritual application. By that absurd statement he was perceived to be a lunatic. In my mind, Jesus, knowing the motives and perceiving their thoughts, said this to divide the goats and the sheep. The sheep embraced what he said; the goats were offended. This is how the truth works. At any rate, the herd was thinned!
We who understand these things, live in an invisible world (within the heart) where the will of God is done and where we literally sit in heavenly places within that kingdom. At least that’s how it should look through the eyes of our trust; in other words, that is our focus and our true reality.
How do I mean literally sit in heavenly places? How did Jesus mean to give us his flesh to eat and his blood to drink? “Literally,” depends on where our focus is and the orientation of our heart! After all, we are what we eat!
We hunger for and eat the will of God. Isn’t this comparable to insanity in the opinion of those without? If we can discern it, Jesus is the will of God in action. And his meat was to do the will of the father. The servant is not above his Lord. Shouldn’t we hunger for the same meat that Jesus hungered for?
For my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. - John 6:55 & 56.
The cup and the bread is an illustration of the will of God and the work of that will being brought to completion. The actual bread and wine that he held in his hands was only the prop that he used to explain this! The real substance is on the other side of the bridge of faith, in the spiritual realm… in faith and faith alone.
This understanding is for the mature or those about to be. We cannot mimic what “they” did in the scriptures of the New Testament. Mimicry is not following the Lamb! It does, nevertheless, show immaturity. Do we dare to share the cup that he drank from and do we indeed dare to eat the meat that he ate?
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. - John 5:30.
Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
The will of God is the great essence of all things! Think about this: the will of God is the beginning of all of creation and the end of all things. Have we failed to discern and honor the placement of “HIS WILL” above all else? We understand “His will” on some superficial level when we think about what “WE” want to do for him.
Sorry, the Lord is not interested in what we want to do for him! The creation is overrun with that attitude. Jesus taught the essence of prayer; “Thy will be done,” was and is paramount in that teaching. In other words, it is the essence of why we exist in Him.
If we center ourselves on that bulls-eye, how can we disappoint him? Of course, this has to be done on the spiritual level and I have never said it would be easy.
We open a door in the realm of our heart and receive his name, which we cannot speak, nevertheless, it is uttered, through spiritual wholehearted groanings out of a holy heart; that thereby we are in him and he is in us, that the will of God is made complete through us.
There are many nuances concerning the will of God, like a huge pile of noodles going in every direction. To many of us, these are strange words, I am sure. One thing is clear: the courageous individuals, who search for HIS will, are the individuals who will make discovery in this reality.
Again, I would like to say that these things must be spiritually discerned and cannot be compared to the way we deal with what is considered to be normal. After all, those who think in this realm are nowhere near normal!
We can see the reality of the will of God in the scriptures throughout the sixty six books. Can we receive the understanding that we are entitled to enter these realities according to Jesus who says: “All things are possible to those who believe… The works that I do shall ye do… If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed…”and so on? Think about that.
Of course, this is the land of the giants. The place where folks suppose angels fear to tread. This is certainly no place for the fearful and the unbelieving.

Elementary It Is Not
Unless we are tuned in to it, this would sound very elementary. Elementary it is not! This is not about going to heaven when we die; it is about the kingdom of God within our heart and realizing our secret life with the Lord in that dimension. To see this, we must focus on the heart and see everything in God as being in our own heart.
This is a reality check. Much of what I am saying here we actually do (or attempt to do) without taking into account what it actually is or how real the substance of our endeavors are. We often go through the motions of spiritually while our substance of trust and faith wavers mightily in that place where only the Lord sees. Many of us are weak because we do not exercise in the unseen. We are like babes in the woods of spirituality.
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. -Luke17:20 & 21.
This will take spiritual eyes and a strong leap up from the earth to comprehend. Once we get past being earthbound it becomes simple. Bear with me if this seems far out there. Take your time and allow the discerning process to do its work.
For any of these things to be received, one must slip into a special kind of thinking because we are dealing with two different dimensions at the same time in which our two opposing forces are at odds. With most of us the natural mind is not used to this.
Jesus taught that God is in heaven, where his will is done. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” -The Lord’s Prayer. The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God is the same domain. The big question would be, how do we access that kingdom from where we are in the natural life?
As I have said about so very many things in the Lord," it’s on the inside (in the heart) not the outside;" this is not to say that God is not Lord in the natural realm as well. The Book of Jesus (The Revelation) has a lot to say about the inner realm. Let’s see if we can discern the door.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. -Rev 3:20 & 21.
The Lord stands outside of our capacity and “petitions us” for entrance, which is actually a connection. This can apply to many different levels of understanding but for now we are dealing with the realm of the heart. On this level, we are not exploring what we might think of as basic entry level salvation. This is simply opening another facet of one of the Lord’s illustrations.
An over-comer is one who has mastered something. We overcome the natural realm from the inside and not the other way around. To prime this well, we must bring the Lord inside by opening the door of our heart. We, not the Lord, open the door; then… we devour his flesh and drink his blood. We do this often in remembrance of him! This is the spiritual substance of The Supper, where strong meat is eaten! The will of God is the meat that Jesus eats. Jesus said that, not me.
In this act, we are absorbing him and he us. We are being consumed and so is the Lord! It is therefore a merge, where the two become one. In the eating and drinking we are being transformed. So that when we have consumed him and he has consumed us, we are then, changed, transformed, renewed, baptized… resurrected
When the Lord is allowed in many things come to light at the same time. Many mysteries of the kingdom are made manifestand so is everything else made manifest. It’s the “everything else” that we must be aware of! Also, let me say that just opening the door is an overcoming process of its own.
The heart contains a vast array of good and evil but by “everything else” I mean, those things that are not godly: worldliness, religious nonsense, fearfulness, lack of focus, ignorance, etc. The spirit of deceit is also there; the heart is famous for being deceitful and being deceived. The Devil comes and goes. The flesh has its throne there; the Devil drops in to tempt us to place our buns upon it once again. Our cross is there. The Devil whispers to us of its great weight. And if we fall, he strolls over to the throne of God and accuses us. Yes, the throne of God is there and all the angels as well! And all this time we thought God was in heaven… and yet he is.
In spite of all this, the heart is a gateway; on the one side is the natural realm but on the other is the great expanse of the spiritual domain. What I am doing is painting a picture of the abstract of the spiritual realm within the heart. If we cannot get our mind around it, reach out in the Spirit and feel it! Often that is easier to begin with.
Sometimes we see things with spiritual eyes that may happen in nanoseconds and these things are as clear as day; at other times we may see symbols, representations or actual people or situations. We do not make these things happen.
When we are in the Spirit we are in the place where they do happen. This is also true with revelation of scripture or otherwise, same thing!
So you want reality? But will you be able to discern it or will you blow it off as your own deceitful heart or will you be simply confused?
The spiritual realm is abstract to our natural world and the limitations of these two realms are totally different. If we want to walk with God we have to understand the realm of the Lord and its vast abstract dimensions. In this realm we can easily compare spiritual things to spiritual things, instead of trying to make the natural compare to the spiritual and thus obtain a distortion. Within the heart, the realm of faith is limitless in size; that is, if we want to think about it that way. It is not actually “inside,” and yet it is. This is why I say it is an abstract.
I realize that many brains are on fire about this time because this focus approaches the level of insanity. These things appear to be irrational to the carnal side of us. Nevertheless, everything spiritual can be accessed through the heart, good and evil. We have as a rule, not been exposed to this as we should be; nevertheless, the children of the pagan religious world do understand the realm of the heart and access a reality there. We also access the realm of the Spirit but it is like we stumble and blunder in and out of it, not comprehending its dimensions nor its landscape.
Once again, Jesus said: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. -Rev 3:20 & 21.
To sit in the throne of God is to access the will of God. Sitting in the throne represents the authority of God working through us by the Holy Ghost, here and now not then or over there.
This is where and how the power is made manifest. The power of God is manifested by the will of God… and only by the will of God. When we are in him and he is in us, our will is nailed to the cross and is dead. We are resurrected out of that death into a truly NEW creature. What we then have is a creature who is a channel for the WILL of the Most High God to flow through. The power of God is in his throne and if we can receive it, we can sit there as well, just as he said.
Can we even imagine this? With the carnal mind, we cannot but through the substance of faith, yes we can! According to our faith… all things are possible! Where do we imagine that we are sitting in “those heavenly places,” if not his throne?
Jesus came INTO our heart to SIT with us, to be in us and us in him. Can we now see how this works? …That where I am, there ye may be also. -John 14:3. That is true, if we can receive it, here and now.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, “he” doeth the works. - John 14:10.
It’s the same principle with us sitting in his throne. When Peter’s shadow healed people, he was sitting in the throne of the Lord in the reality within his heart. Peter was in the Father and the Father was in him doing the works, just as he worked through our supreme example, Jesus.
The will of the Father runs the WHOLE show; he supplies the beans and the bullets. We do not have to MAKE the will of God work by some device out of our own huffing and puffing. When we receive this simple understanding we are then in the chariot of his will, which has no steering wheel! Even if he does not give us specific directions, if we acknowledge him in all of our ways he directs our path. And so we pray for and focus on his will. God will do his part.
For most of us this is a different perspective than the one we are familiar with and because of that unfamiliarity there could easily be fear. Fear shows that our love is weak and so is our trust. If the Lord is with us how do we fear, unless we do not comprehend the presence of his power.
