The Threshing floor has been established by the Holy Ghost as a spiritual library for the spiritual minded Saints of God. Sue and Randy are pillars in the House of God; I honor them and the work that they do because it is evident that the Most High is working through them. There are many others working in concert with them and I honor them because God is with them in their work as well.
One of the things about the Threshing Floor that I love is that it will (by the spirit of revelation) help mightily with the cleansing of the religious orientation that we all received in the religious institutions. When an individual first leaves the religious system there are shades of gray upon the garments that we don’t have a clue about.
Reorientation is like a pool of water and in this pool we are baptized. The whole process of coming out of a great deception is a baptism. Baptism is a representation of death to the old and resurrection in the newness; we all know this! We die to religion and come alive to a freedom from that bondage by the renewing of our understanding and obedience to it. For the believer, there are many baptisms: it is called growth! I know what some of you are thinking: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism… Eph 4:5:” that passage is dealing with the unity of the Spirit among the believers. Nevertheless there is, MANY spiritual BAPTISMS for the growing believer. Associated with these baptisms is the pain of growth. We should remember that!
The Holy Ghost is our personal leader and does give us personal revelation but He also works through the brethren for specific reasons. And the first reason is humility! It is a humbling experience to have your religious understanding ripped out by the Lord and then to have to submit to having the Lord build (through the brethren) a different structure in its place. This, nevertheless, depends upon how much baggage we carried with us when we came out and how tightly we hold to what we think we already know. This BAPTISM can (for some) make the stomach churn and has caused many to walk in circles feeling like a lost child. And that I do not say lightly!
Many who followed Moses out of the bondage of Egypt felt exactly the same way. On the other hand, those who have very little to no religious orientation should have little problem if they submit. However, if one is yielding and will receive the authority of the Holy Ghost in the vessels being used to enlighten, then that individual will proceed quickly, while others will wander in the goo of unbelief because of their fear or stubbornness. This is often very subtle but those who choose this SPIRIT will receive bondage in the midst of freedom. Fear is unbelief and stubbornness is rebellion. Those who embrace these spirits will NEVER inherit the promises of God but will die in the wilderness, just as did the fearful and unbelieving followers of Moses!
The Holy Ghost will teach and lead each one of us. Nevertheless, the Lord does not give all understanding to any individual. Therefore, we must depend on the Holy Ghost to supply through other vessels what He does not supply to us individually. This is ordained by God so that we will not think that we are sufficient of ourselves. This also lends itself to humility.
There is a huge volume of information on the Threshing Floor and no one can consume and digest it all in a short time. Don’t even try! I suggest starting with The Trumpet Judgments, a book by Sue Patterson and then The 144,000, also a book by Sue Patterson. The 144,000 can be downloaded (free) from the Threshing Floor. The Trumpet Judgjments has a cost. The Metaphoric Language is also a good one. These writings will give an orientation and bring us up to speed so that what is being discussed on the radio shows can be understood. Randy and Sue have regular broadcast where we can hear them talk and these shows can be downloaded into our computers. Also the other shows and information, which Randy manages, is very good for broadening our understanding of the spiritual realm, both the dark side and the glories of the light of the Lord.
The writings might seem strange at first and maybe a little laborious but Sue goes to great lengths to build a good foundation for what the Holy Ghost has revealed so bear with it; it is well worth the effort.
Pay attention to how the scripture connects to what she is saying. I read through this information twice and I strongly felt that there was something there. When I finished reading, the real witness came when I studied my own Bible and saw on a broad basis what the Holy Ghost had revealed through her writings.
As for me, I came to the place where I had to throw away things that I thought I knew. On the other hand, the road was opened to me in places where it had been closed; I gained understandings that before I did not have. The point is this: we have things that we hold that we have never considered as items that are religious weights or useless and spiritually immature understandings. We must recognize these items! It is a sign of immaturity to think that we see everything clearly. Let us not be fools!
Nevertheless, go as the Lord leads. Eat your daily bread and digest it! Receiving the right spirit about these things is much more important than trying to gobble it all down as quickly as possible; an intellectual understanding is not the point! Besides that, we can never reach the end of an understanding in the Lord but we also never stop receiving it so be patient and simply keep walking.
Just one more thing: out of all the different folks who appear as guests on the Threshing Floor shows, we find many God given gifts; nevertheless, of these things presented - you or I or others, might not see or agree with all that we hear all the time. We who are at war are not all in the same exact balance and are in different states of growth. I often say we are in different places on the same mountain. Nevertheless, we who LOVE, have great patience and tolerance for this matter… up to a certain point. There is an old saying: “Eat the MEAT and throw the bones over your shoulder.” On the other hand… be careful that you don’t throw away some perfectly good meat still attached to those bones. It’s a balance folks! Be careful… be humble… be S-L-O-W to judge.
