THE DEVIL USES A WOLF...
Jesus was crucified, died, rose from the grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father. Three hundred, some odd years later the Devil ( through the Emperor of Rome) gathered the elders of the various churches in the empire and tempted them with an offering of a safe and prosperous place under the protection of the Roman government. They were so spiritually weak that they accepted the offer, believing it to be a godsend. Nevertheless, this offer from the government, is the same general deal that the Devil offered Jesus, on the condition that Jesus would worship him. Jesus refused!
After the big deal was accepted by the elders, Constantine, Emperor of Rome, named himself the "Thirteenth Apostle" and presided over the forming of the state sponsored, "Christian religion." That is equal to declaring himself to be God! Today, the average, Sunday-go-to-meeting Christians have no clue as to what has befallen them so long ago; while the clergy continues to enjoy the wonderful position that the "thirteenth apostle" has granted them, even to this very day. It was all about them then... it is all about them now! Thirteen (as I understand it) is the number of the Devil. How could all those elders have been so blind? The answer is this: they were the weeds that Jesus said the Devil would sow among the wheat! These are the wolves in sheep clothing; these are the hirelings and not the heirs!
Don’t take my word for this. This understanding can be had through history books. The History Channel has an excellent program on this very thing! But moving to a higher example of what we should not do, the book of Matthew lays it out in allegorical form in the temptation of Jesus, as follows: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. - Mat 4:8,9.
The Devil rules over the kingdoms of the world and it is obvious that Christianity boldly clings to the protection and the prosperity of the Devil's kingdoms! This is an abomination! It is sinful for those who claim the name of Jesus to be in league with the powers of this world. How can we be at war with Satan when we are under his protection? What friendship does light have with darkness; can we serve God and the spirit of the world at the same time ?
Like Judas, the bishops of the empire loved Jesus but they loved themselves and the power of wealth much more. Their lustful licking up the offer of the Devil is the manifestation of their love for the world. Read for yourself: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. -1John 2:15 & 16.
The Devil is terribly subtle and as always, has gummed up the works of God with some cleaver devilment. It is sad that there are few watchmen giving a true alarm. Nevertheless, Christianity is so drunk on blissful ignorance, that even if the alarm is given, they cannot take it seriously. Often, the alarm giver is beaten up by the hearers in one manner or another.
The strength of Jesus is made perfect in weakness; in contrast, Christianity is strong because of friendship with the world and love of the things in the world. Love of the things in the world brought to birth a spiritual prototype which was Judas and later, the production models of that prototype began appearing in the elders. And that production line has never ceased since it first started. Judas loved the power and security of money and went on to make a commodity of Jesus. The price was "thirty pieces of silver." But let me ask this question: whose picture was on that money? It was Caesar, the Roman Emperor. Caesar and Constantine are not the same person but the allegorical relationship is the same. The elders were seduced by the offer of the Devil, just as was Judas, who also was an elder. The betrayal of Jesus carried an allegorical forecast of things to come upon the believers. Jesus put forth parables concerning the spirit of Judas: the wheat and the weeds, as well as the wolves that Jesus said would come. The point is, that the wolves are not "coming" but have been here for ages. They took over under the snoring noses of slumbering watchmen. Because of wolves, few now understand what the real article is because the subtle degradation has been in place for so long and has been solidified by tradition.
So what was Christianity before Constantine? They were despised, rejected, spat upon, hated, declared to be enemies of the state... like Jesus. And one more thing, they were KILLED and IMPRISONED... like Jesus. However, we must all understand one very important thing: even if there is persecution, there must also be another element and that is purity. Purity comes from separation from the world and it's influences; specifically, the influences of Christian religious institutions and their worldly, religious, corporate structures (or corporate-like) and the worldly overseers, the clergy. If purity is not at work, then after the persecution is past, the old order simply reinvents itself, as it has done in former communist countries.
When things are the worst for us, Jesus is at his best through us. Though we may be weak from the trauma of the ordeal, we often still win by losing! Jesus seemed to loose on the cross but it was the biggest victory ever. The Devil is allowed to gain access among the children of light and sow his evil seeds because it gives, those who would overcome, a window of opportunity to do just that. God's ways are not our ways! "Over-comers" win by going against the grain of the religious, the religious are those bound by their traditions, rituals and the unholy focus upon things of the earth, such as wealth and power. It is by the pain of holiness (which is in essence separation from the unclean) that we overcome. Suffering is still a real path for those that would be truly righteous through faith and not by the rituals of tradition.
The best thing that will ever happen to Christianity is the direct judgement of God on the whole structure. This judgement (as incredible as it may seem) will come upon all Christian institutions. It will free the bounds of the true hearted and will burn up those who are weeds and wolves among the sheep. This will come upon them because of their friendship with the world and the spiritual and carnal sins associated with that position over the centuries. Please do not think that I am speaking only of the Roman Church because Rome is a mother to her Protestant daughters; they are a family. Therefore, if I speak of one, the other is included.
Get out of this worldly, religious system before this judgement arrives, this is the commandment of the Lord to the wise, and here it is:
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. - Rev 18:4 & 5.
The plagues represent the judgement of the Lord against what the Lord considers to be a spiritual whore and her daughters! Those are HIS words not mine: strong language for a strong warning! This is something that should not be taken lightly.
There is much more concerning this whole scenario available to be understood for the spiritually hungry. By that, I encourage anyone who will, to read all that I have written and proceed from there. I do not know the half of all that God is yet to reveal but I guarantee you that if you have not already started this journey, if you start here, God will give you your portion. Read everything on the gray bar at the top... and prosper!
God bless you... Jaytee Bee
